About Sheri Dempsey, MPT

Sheri received her Master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Southern California in 1996, plus a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University in 1993. She began her career interning in New York City at the Performing Arts Physical Therapy providing care for performers on Broadway. She then strengthened her medical abilities by working at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh in the acute and outpatient care centers for two years.

As her personal life brought her to South Jersey in 1998, Sheri worked for Heartland Rehabilitation Services in the Kennedy Hospital System for acute, transitional, and outpatient care. It was at this time that she started forming a working relationship with the owners of Kennedy Fitness (formerly Future Fitness) and continued with them for over 20 yrs. While not being caught up in large corporate philosophies, Sheri developed Rebound Physical Therapy in 2001. Her goal was always to provide personalized physical therapy in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. This philosophy continues at their new location inside Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club (CHHRC).
